Mijn Kitchen: I love coming here early afternoon for lunch and soaking in the sun. I usually get a burger and broccoli salad. Followed by dessert or a milkshake. Its a good place to just people watch. Folks come here for business lunches, family time, casual reading, and just to lounge in one of the nicest gardens in Blantyre. Malawi Game Reserves & Parks

*Please note that the rainy season in Malawi is from December/January thru April. I would highly recommend going to any of the mentioned places outside of that timeframe to maximize probability of seeing wildlife. Majete: This was my first time going to a game reserve. The only other time I have seen wild animals has been in a zoo. This Game Reserve is run by the African Parks Network which have done an exemplinary job of revitalizing the parks in Malawi. Materuni Waterfalls: Moshi Tanzania

The hostess at my hotel recommended this site to me. I didn’t know anything about it prior. Going to the waterfalls was the first part of my day tour. We headed off at around 8 AM from the hotel in Moshi and were parked and checking in at the office prior to the hike. The hike itself took about 35 minutes with one stop for bananas along the way.
